Welcome to 5 Elements Gems and Minerals
Five Elements Gallery offers a wide spectrum of unique gem and mineral customization. All of our jewelry is crafted in-house, including repairs. Our jewelry expertise includes goldsmithing with a variety of precious and nonprecious metals, stone bead working, seed beading, wirewrapping, and scrap metal 'found art' making. We even have an artist who makes gemstone wirewrapped eye and sunglasses.
Lapidary
Our shop features a variety of worked stones, cabochons to beads to free-form facets. There are also arrowheads, fetish carvings, polished slabs, bookends, and a line of wind chimes. People also bring in stones for us to cut or polish. A unique aspect of our company is that many of the stone we carry and work on are materials we have personally collected or dug out of the earth, from all over the US.
Mineral Identification
Guests often bring in samples of mineral and ask,"Can you tell me what this is?" We are happy to try our best to identify the rock, drawing from personal experiences in the field, at mineral shows, museums, and classes, in addition to having many reference books on hand.
Events
5 Elements Gallery hosts art openings and showings. Our Gem Gallery is a fantastic place to host a gathering! Our next exhibit will feature a Pacific Northwest glass artist. Details will be available soon. Interested parties should inquire if they'd like to diplay their art at the gallery. Showings may be minerals and gems from various people's home collection.
